Practical details and essential answers to help you prepare for your arrival and enjoy a seamless stay at Casa Lux.
Do I need a car to stay at Casa Lux?
Yes. A car is essential for staying at Casa Lux. The drive is straightforward until the final stretch: from Los Caballos, it is approximately four minutes uphill to the house. For this last section, we recommend at least a compact SUV or another vehicle with equivalent or greater ground clearance. Larger or higher-clearance vehicles are equally suitable.
Is the pool heated?
Pool heating is available on request. When heating is used, the water temperature can be increased by approximately 5°C, up to a maximum of around 30°C. Availability and charges depend on the season.
How many guests can stay at Casa Lux?
Casa Lux accommodates up to six guests, with a maximum of four adults and two children. There are two king-size bedrooms, with foldable beds prepared in the bedrooms when required.
Is Casa Lux suitable for families with children?
Yes. Casa Lux works particularly well for couples and small families. The private pool has a gentle walk-in beach entry, making it easy for children to enter and leave the water gradually. A baby cot and high chair can also be provided on request, and the house includes a selection of games and practical family essentials. Children must always be supervised by an adult around the pool.
Is the Wi-Fi suitable for remote work?
Yes. Casa Lux has Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house and terraces, together with a dedicated wooden desk and a 27-inch external screen with HDMI connection.
How far is Casa Lux from Málaga Airport and Caminito del Rey?
Málaga Airport is approximately 35 minutes away by car. Caminito del Rey and the El Chorro lakes are also around 35 minutes away, making Casa Lux a convenient base for exploring the Guadalhorce Valley and wider Andalusia.
What is included with my stay?
Your stay includes bed linen, bath and pool towels, Wi-Fi, utilities, private parking, final cleaning and the everyday amenities prepared in the villa. The pool is prepared before arrival, and additional services can be arranged on request where available.
Can I book Casa Lux directly?
Yes. You can check availability and send your reservation request directly through the Casa Lux website. Casa Lux is also available through selected travel partners if you prefer to book through one of those platforms.

Check-out by 10:00.
Guests
Maximum occupancy is 6 guests in total (e.g., 4 adults & max 2 children, 3 adults & max 3 children, or 2 adults & max 4 children). Adults are guests aged 13 or over; children are 12 years and under. When total guests exceed 4, children sleep on prepared foldable beds in the bedrooms.
Payment & deposit
A 35% payment is required to reserve your stay after Casa Lux confirms availability.
For stays in July and August, the remaining 65% is due 12 weeks before arrival. For other months, it is due 8 weeks before arrival.
Bookings made within the applicable final-payment period require full payment when reserving.
A refundable security deposit of € 1.000 is due 21 days before arrival, or immediately when booking within 21 days of arrival. Check-in details are shared once all payments and the deposit have been received. The deposit is refunded within 14 days after check-out, subject to inspection and any applicable deductions.
The calendar and price shown online are indicative until Casa Lux has reviewed and accepted the booking request.
Cancellation
Cancel within 48 hours of booking for a full refund, provided arrival is more than 14 days away.
After 48 hours, the 35% booking payment is non-refundable.
For July and August stays, the full reservation becomes non-refundable 12 weeks before arrival. For other months, the full reservation becomes non-refundable 8 weeks before arrival.
The 48-hour cancellation period does not apply to bookings made within 14 days of arrival. We recommend suitable travel insurance.
